Smart Class Rooms in detail
Our school is designed with the concept of the Smart Classroom — an idea that has revolutionised classroom teaching, and the way teachers teach and students learn in class.
Each smart classroom is equipped with a personal computer, overhead projector, wireless internet access, DVD player and a smart board. Students and teachers present lessons and projects on large smart boards and carry out group discussions while presenting. Teachers use the computer for preparing lesson plans, completing the grade book, checking email, making posters and preparing letters.
What changes for a child is less the equipment than the direction of the lesson. Work is shown to the room rather than copied down from the board, and a question can be answered on the screen while it is still being asked.
