Auditorium in detail
The Delhi World Public School auditorium is one of a kind. Specially designed for the various activities of the school, it is spacious and comfortable.
While the auditorium is meant to showcase the talents of DWPS students, it also hosts many workshops, seminars and celebrations. It seats 500 students, and the sound system and acoustics add to the ambience.
One room has to do the work of several. It is a theatre, a lecture hall and a place for the school to sit down together, and it was designed for all three rather than adapted to them. The five hundred seats are the part everyone counts, but it is the sound and the acoustics that decide whether the child in the back row hears the one on the stage.
